Education of refugees
Working paper dealing with educational programmes undertaken by UNRWA and UNESCO for the education of refugees from Palestine in the occupied territories of Arab States - describes educational expenditures for these programmes and the increased enrolment in the occupied areas, particularly at teacher training centres, technical and vocational education centres, and at a level of primary education, examines problems related to textbooks and curriculum development, considers improvements through in-service teacher training, provision of UNESCO fellowships and increased educational facilities
