National information policy

Working paper providing guidelines for an information policy in order to further the NATIS programme for developing national information systems to deal with the growth of all types of information - describes the problems that hamper the flow of information and the mechanisms for improving information services and the access to information, discusses documentation/library planning and information system planning within the NATIS planning machinery, considers questions of information user needs and refers to information user instruction and to some aspects of information science training and library training
