Progress report on the implementation of the work programme and priorities for the Biennium 1984-1985
The purpose of this document is to present a progress report on the implementation of the Commission's Programme of Work, and Priorities for the Biennium 1984-1985 so as to provide a background for the consideration of the Programme of Work and Priorities for the biennium 19.86-1987 although the biennium I984- 1985 is only half-way through, the preparation of a new work programme demands that the ongoing programme should be reviewed so as to identify what has been or could be achieved including the problems encountered so that the lessons learn can be used to prepare the new programme and priorities of work. In effect, the report deals with projected and actual delivery of programmed commitments (final outputs), envisaged departures from such commitments and explanations for such departures.
