Report of the second meeting of the conference of Ministers of African least developed countries : Tripoli, Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya 26 - 28 April 1982

The representative of the secretariat bad emphasized that it would be important for the implementation of the Programme to be closely monitored if the least developed countries were to derive maximum, benefits from it. The arrangements for the implementation, follow-up and monitoring of the Programme, embodied in the Programme itself, should thus be regarded as providing a unique opportunity whereby the global undertakings contained in it could be related to the specific requirements and priorities of individual least developed countries.
