Report on task force 2 : Monitoring the implementation of the Addis Ababa plan Action
This task force was established in 1997 and has the objective of assessing progress and assisting in the implementation of the Addis Ababa Plan of Action. Two outputs were foreseen in this task force namely A Compendium of statistical activities in each Africa country, 1997; and a Report on the implementation of the Addis Ababa Plan of Action at regional, sub regional and national levels. Both outputs were to be produced from data collected through postal surveys conducted in African countries during 1997 and 1998. The surveys were titled "Regional survey on statistical activities, 1997, and Survey on the statistical development of African countries, 1997.
