Mobilizing science and technology for development in Africa: strategy and dynamic action programme for the 1980s and beyond
An intergovernmental working Group of the Committee on Science and Technology for Development, was convened by the Economic and Social Council in 1975 to examine the specific objectives, topics and agenda for a United Nations Conference, based on the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on the Application of Science and Technology to Development.
