Violence against Women in Africa

Violence in general is an extreme violation of basic human rights, especially the rights to life, liberty and the security of person as defined in the in the Universal declaration of human rights. The Available research on violence against women' concludes that this problem is a reality in African societies and famines and that it is spreading.
