Report of the Intergovernmental Committee of Senior Officials and Experts for Southern Africa on its twenty ninth session was held in Gaborone and online on 8 and 9 November 2023. The theme of the session was “Accelerating implementation of the Agreement Establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area to ensure inclusive development in Southern Africa: building on the free trade agreements of the regional economic communities, and harnessing technology and innovation for private sector and value chain development”.
