Report of the extraordinary meeting of the Bureau of the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development
Pursuant to the agreement reached at its meeting on 17 March 2020, an extraordinary meeting of the Bureau of the fifty-second session of the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development was convened by the secretariat of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) to meet the statutory requirements of the secretariat following the postponement of the fifty-third session of the Conference as a consequence of the outbreak of the global coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. At that meeting, the Bureau had also agreed that the extraordinary meeting would be held at the ministerial level, with the participation of the ministers of the member States appointed to the Bureau
