Report of the thirty-fifth session of the Intergovernmental Committee of Senior Officials and Experts for North Africa

The secretariat presented the main findings of the report entitled: “Achievement of the United Nations 2030 Agenda (SDG) and the African Union Agenda 2063 in North Africa: Synthesis”. The purpose of the report was to assist States in monitoring their compliance with their regional and international commitments and to ensure that the priorities of the subregion were addressed in negotiations at both the regional and international levels. The report focused on the progress made by North African countries in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063 and set out general recommendations for countries to help them consolidate their achievements in that regard.
