ECA engages journalists from West Africa on financing issues in the countries of the sub-region
The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), through its Sub-regional Office for West Africa (SRO-WA/ECA). The objective of these exchanges was to engage the members of the West African Economic Journalists Network on the issues of financing the development of West African countries. These exchanges on the theme of COM2022, which were held in the presence of some thirty journalists from the 15 ECOWAS Countries, made it possible to highlight the challenges facing the countries of West Africa, and to make proposals as to meet their financing needs.
