Statement by H.E. Mr. Soulaymane Cissé, minister of planning of Guinea and chairperson of the outgoing bureau of the conference : the 5th joint annual meetings of the AU conference of ministers of economy and finance and ECA conference of ministers of finance, planning and economic development
This conference has become the most important meeting place for African Ministers of finance, planning and economic development. The themes of the conference have been carefully chosen to tackle the serious challenges to the advancement of our economic development agenda. Through the high quality debates and discussions, we have collectively produced outcomes that significantly influence and shape the paths we have taken in our respective countries in addressing our developmental challenges. As you are all aware this year’s conference promises to be very successful because of the unprecedented high turnout of Ministers.
