Official visit of the Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ECA, Vera Songwe, to Burkina Faso
The Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Vera Songwe, will pay an official visit to Burkina Faso at the invitation of the President of Faso, His Excellency Mr. Roch Marc Christian Kaboré. This visit will strengthen the already fruitful cooperation between Burkina Faso and the ECA, particularly in support of its efforts in favor of structural transformation, the inclusive and sustainable development of Burkina Faso, access to appropriate funding for post-COVID reconstruction, regional integration and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
