Ad-hoc Meeting of the West African Expert Group: Focus on National Capacities for Monitoring and Evaluating the 2030 and 2063 Agendas

The Office for West Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Liberia, is organizing from May 06 to 07, 2019, in Robertsfield, Liberia, an ad-hoc meeting of experts from West Africa on the theme: "National capacities and mechanisms in evaluating progress in the implementation of the 2030 and 2063 Agendas: assessment, challenges and prospects in West Africa". This ad-hoc meeting will be held in a context where the capacities of the States to produce timely and quality data covering all the indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2063 Agenda remain very limited.
