Report of the eleventh meeting of the Lusaka-Based MULPOC Council of Ministers
The eleventh meeting of the Lusaka-based MULPOC council of Ministers was held in Harare, Zimbabwe on 6 and 7 March 1989. The council of Ministers discussed this item of the agenda at length and came to the conclusion that the renationalization of the organizations in the sub region was necessary and urgent. The council took note of the information given by some delegations that PTA and SADCC were also interested in the rationalization of the activities of intergovernmental organizations in the sub region and had taken steps to get the required studies undertaken. The Council of Ministers reviewed the comments and observations of the Committee of officials on the survey of economic and social conditions in the sub region.
