Draft report by Mr.E. Muamunga outgoing chairman of the conference of African Minsters of industry and the follow-up committee on industralization in Africa
At its third session the conference Ministers of Industry deliberated on a wide range of issues whose solution was expected to contribute to the implementation of the Lima Declaration in Africa and to the initiation of individual and collective self-reliance. The conference in particular approved the creation of the following regional projects: Regional Centre for the development transfer and adaptation of industrial technology regional center for industrial design and Manufacturing African Regional center for consulting and management and African Industrial development Fund. The meeting considered and made recommendations to this conference in regard to the following programmes projects and preparations aimed at implementing the Lima Declaration in Africa: symposium on industrial policies and strategies Regional Centre for Industrial Design and Manufacturing: African Regional Centre for Consulting Engineering and Management.
