Statistical activities at ECA Headquarters during the latter part of 1973 were notable mainly in terms of a proliferation of meetings. Ar. executive orientation course in data processing was organized. for ECA staff from 20 to 26 October by Mr. Thomas King, Inter regional Adviser on Computer Management. The sixth session of the FAO African Commission on Agricultural Statistics and the Seminar on preparation of the 1973 world Programme of Industrial Statistics began their work on 12 November
