Proposals for programme budget 1980-1981: volume II
This subprogramme is composed of only one progrmnme element, namely population policies programmes and development planning. The objective of this subprogramme is to create increased awareness among African Governments of the short and long-term issues relating to different aspects of population structure, movements and changes and to assist them in the formulation and implementation of effective population policies and in the integration of the population of the population aspects in the process of planning for development.
