Report on the AD-HOC expert group meeting on women access and ownership of land in Eastern Africa
The issue of women access to and ownership of land still remains a critical priority need in the Eastern Africa sub-region. Due to its importance, the issue has been vastly addressed through research, studies and greatly articulated on and deliberated upon in various for a and several measures have been recommended. Review of the related literature however indicates that the major gaps are actionable modalities to operationalize the recommendations.
