Creation of the African Association of Tourism.
The report on “intra-African cooperation in Tourism” presented in Niamey at the regional conference on intra African cooperation in tourism proposed, among other things the creation of an “African Association of hotel and an African Association of travel agents and tour organization in resolution No. I the conference requested ECA in collaboration with WTO and other interested organizations and institution to undertake the creation of mechanisms for cooperation such as those proposed in the report on intra-Africa cooperation in tourism. The report presented in product analyzed some aspects the African tourism product.
