Foreign trade Statistics for Africa=Statistiques africaines du commerce exterieur: trade by commodity=echange par produits
Series B “Trade by Commodity'', is a companion of series A “Direction of Trade'', and provides cumulative yearly data on African commodity trade according to the Standard International Trade Classification ( SlTC), Revised'', by region and by countries of J provenance and destination in thousand US dollars. Imports and exports are analyzed by section groups or sub-groups. Headings are omitted when the value of imports or exports is less than US$ 500. Each section and sub-group ( or group) is fully identified by its number, but abbreviated titles are also shown to facilitate the use of the tables, for the full title in each case, reference must be made to Statistical Papers, Series M, Number 34, Standard International Trade Classification, Revised' issued by the Statistical Office of the United Nations, New York, 1961
