Ten African countries win awards for using ICT to improve public service delivery
Twelve innovative projects from 10 African countries have won the 2009 Technology in Government in Africa (TIGA) awards in recognition of achievements that led to changes in the use of ICTs for public service delivery, according to an announcement last Thursday in Addis Ababa by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and its partners, the Governments of Canada and Finland in Addis Ababa, 4 May 2009 (ECA).
