North Africa intergovernmental committee of experts sets agenda for growth
The 27th session of North Africa Intergovernmental Committee of Experts which came out with a series of proposals aimed at clearing logjams that inhibit North Africa from becoming a pole of sustainable growth, according to the Information and Communication Service of the UN Economic Commission for Africa. Panelists at the roundtable held at North Africa Regional Office of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa on the theme “Africa’s Potential as a Pole of Global Growth: The Role of North Africa” agreed on a number of steps that need to be taken to unleash the potential of the region to become a growth pole.
