Statement by A.E Osanya-Nyyneque, assistant secretary general for economic and social affairs of the OAU at the opening of the meeting of African minister on economic co-operation among developing countries the need to ensure a peaceful and secure world through co-operation in 11 fields of human. Life was recognized by the founders of the United Nations, who inscribed it in Article I of the UN Charter If certain section of the international community is today pressing for a re-examination, reassessment and restructuring of the world economic sys-tern it is only to ensure that this dream of the founders of the United Nations becomes a reality.
