Progress report on the implementation of the programme for the second IDDA : (b) joint secretariat report
In its operative paragraph 11, resolution 1 (XI) of the eleventh meeting of the Conference of African Ministers of Industry (CAMI) requested the Director General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) to report jointly on the progress made in the implementation of the programme for the second Industrial Development Decade for Africa (IDDA II). Since the adoption of this resolution, ECA and UNIDO have undertaken a number of activities within the context of their respective work programmes.
