Recommendations of the ARCC briefing session on the new direction to be given to UNDP-financed programmes for the Integration of women in development. The briefing session Appeals to UNDP: to prepare for national machineries for the Integration of women in development on Its financing facilities and on the financing sources of the United Nations system and the procedures to be followed to obtain such financing; and to make funds available for the technical training of experts of national mach1neries so that they will be qualified to present documents on projects that meet the requirements specified by the 1r Government and by financing Institutions. Recommends to Governments that they: establish a circuit for the rapid communication of Information to national machineries on all questions of concern to women and include national non-governmental organizations In the information circuits on questions relating to women.
