Fourth meeting of the sub-regional committee for the integration of women in development
The third meeting of the MULPOC Subregional Committee for West Africa held convened in Conakry (GUIEA) from 5 to B February 1983 in turn considered how far the Banjul work programme had been implemented and to approve the 1983-1984 work programme. The purpose of the meeting is to make a critical examination of the progress made and of the obstacles encountered by the countries in the subregion in their efforts at integrating women in the development process. The specific objectives of the meeting are as follows: to consider the implementation of the work programme and the order of priorities decided upon by the subregional committee; To examine the priority programme for the 1905-1986 period and to discuss any other matters.
