The sub regional training workshop on the easier reference guide for mainstreaming gender perspectives and household production in to national statistics, budgets and policies, held in Nairobi, Kenya. The objective of the training workshop was to share information on modalities of operationalizing the Easy Reference Guidebook and to generate comments from experts to improve the Guidebook. The Guidebook is and African specific Guidebook for mainstreaming unpaid care work and household production into national statistics, policies and budgets. It is a compendium of methodologies and tools, which use national accounts, policies and budgets as entry points to build capacity of statisticians, national accountants and policy analysts, on engendering national planning instruments.
