Directory of government printers and prominent bookshops in the African region= Répertoire des imprimeries nationales et des principales librairies d'Afrique
This directory is the first of the E/CN.14/LIB/SER.D which covers directories, handbooks, guides etc. it is intended for the use of institutions, libraries and scholars who are interested in securing African material, particularly those receiving our bibliographies who have mentioned on several occasions the difficulties they encountered in trying to obtain such material and who desired to know whom it was advisable to content. Concerning the arrangement of the directory, countries are listed alphabetically and under each country, the full address of the government printers followed by a list of selected bookshops in the capital city is given.
