Meeting of experts on training centres in photogrammetry, airborne geophysical surveying and interpretation of aerial survey data: statement

This statement presented by Mr. Ewing, officer-in-charge on the meeting of experts on training centers in photogrammetry, airborne geophysical surveying and interpretation of aerial survey data. The presentative on his statement outlines that the tasks of the meeting has three fold. First, it is to study the growing needs of the region for Africans skilled in various aspects of aerial surveying: aerial photography, photogrammetry, airborne geophysical surveying, photo-interpretation, and the interpretation of other aerial survey data. second, it is to consider the kind of training institutions required to meet these needs, the best possible locations, the most reasonable intake of trainees, the staff and equipment required, estimates of financial requirements to meet capital and recurrent expenditures.
