Report on consultations with governments on the question of setting up in Africa: a joint centre for specialized services in surveying and mapping
The paper focused on the regional cartographic for Africa held in Nairobi in July 1963, after the review of the cartographic status of the continent, noted the need for further urgent surveying and mapping work to meet the requirements of the United Nations development decade as well as to fulfill the aspiration of African countries for rapid economic development and social progress.
