The economic and functional analysis of government accounts in the federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland
The analysis of the accounts of government enterprises and extra budgetary general government agencies cannot be dealt with in this way as it is only possible at the present moment to have access to these accounts When they appear in the Auditor-General's. A copy of the analysis sheets used in the economic classification or these accounts is attached to this paper. The statistical tables attached to this paper will show that in fact such an analysis classifying government expenditure both economically and functionally has been completed for the years 1955 to 1960.
