Interdisciplinary core curriculum for incorporating environmental components into training programmes of institutions sponsored by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa: a project FP/3102-84-02 (2367) supported by the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) and executed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA)
This document contains the substantive output of a project initiated by the Environment Section of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and supported by the Environmental Education and Training Unit of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The series of project activities which included data collection on the training courses of ECA-sponsored institutions and the development of a comprehensive introductory curriculum, has culminated in a joint UNECA/UNFP/ADB Curriculum Development Training Workshop on the incorporation of environmental components into the Training Programmes of ECA-sponsored institutions. The content of this document reflects the proceedings of the above workshop, the output of which has been fed into the core curriculum.
