Report of the preparatory meeting of the working groups of the inter-state facilitation commission of the Cairo-Gaborone trans-East African highway authority
The preparatory meeting of the working Groups of the Inter-State Facilitation Commission of the Cairo-Gaborone Trans-East African Highway Authority was held at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 24 to 25 September 1984. The meeting was attended by representatives of Egypt, Ethiopia and the Sudan (members)/ and a representative of the GOR attended the meeting as an observer. A member of the ECA secretariat, in introducing document TRANS/TEAHA/IFC-WG/2, on the Plan of Operation of the Commission, underscored the urgent need to determine the composition of each working Group, and establish the general time schedule of commencement and completion of their work.
