Notes concerning aeronautical charts
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has supported the United Nations Regional Cartographic Program since its inception and, within its means, has been represented at Regional Cartographic Conferences. It wishes to help encourage, through these Conferences, the carrying out of surveys and maps, since it generally believes that the rate of economic progress depends, to some extent, on the economy. existence of appropriate charts and, in particular, that it is necessary to have accurate charts for all phases of flight operations.
