Mission report on finalizing arrangements on: ''joint UNICEF/ESARO/UNECA subregional monitoring and evaluation workshop''
This mission of the Regional Adviser was undertaken as a follow up to his previous mission to UNICEF/Eastem and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) in March/April 19961 He had during that mission in collaboration with his counterpart in UNICEF/ESARO, Mr Mahesh Patel, initiated arrangements: to review and evaluate UNICEFs Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MlCS)initiative in the ESARO sub-region; and to convene an expert seminar of the directors of CSOs in the region in the third quarter of 1996. This mission was undertaken to review the responses to the survey undertaken to assess die status-quo on MICS surveys being conducted in various countries in ESARO region and to finalize on the programme for the proposed "Joint UNICEF-ESARO/UNECA Sub-Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Workshop.
