Report of the Eighth meeting of the conference of Ministers of African least developed countries
The eighth meeting of the Conference of Ministers of African Least Developed Countries was held in Niamey, Niger, on 13 and 14 April, 1988. At the opening session, statements were made by: His Excellency Mr. Almollstapha Soumailil, The Minister of Planning of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Adebayo Adedeji, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa and Ambassador Ahmed Hagqaq, Assistant Secretary General in charge of Economic Development and Co-operation on behalf of the Secretary General of the Organization of African Unity.
