This paper is focuses on the co coordinating committee on African statistical development. Inter-governmental bodies such as the UN Statistical Commission, the ACC subcommittee on statistical activities, the Joint Conference of African Planners, Statisticians and Demographers, the Population Commission and the Agricultural Statistics Commission, etc... will, through ECA, be kept informed on the work and progress made by the Committee.
