This paper focuses on report of the meeting between financial institutions and African intergovernmental organizations to explore strategies for financing the United Nations Transport and Communications Decade in Africa was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 14 to 15 June 1984 in conformity with resolution ECA/UNTACDA/ Res.84/45 adopted in Conakry, Guinea, in February 1984 by the fourth Conference of African Ministers of Transport, Communications and Planning.
