This document focuses on the mission report of ECOWAS multisectoral study on chemical and petrochemical industries subsector. ECOWAS chemical industries subsector was necessary first to determine the level of industrialization of each of the 16 countries of the community, as well as the relative place of the chemical subsector within the respective industry sector.
