Poverty reducation strategy updates : the case of Mozambique
The current PARPA (2001-2005) is Mozambique's first PRSP. It was approved by Government in 2001, giving way for Mozambique to reach the decision points in the HIPe initiative for debt relief. The PARPA acts as a priority plan for the Government to manage medium-term macro and sector policies relating to poverty reduction and development, and explains the strategic vision for reducing poverty, the main objectives, and the key actions to be implemented.
