Report of the trainining workshop on cultural prerequisites and the role of women in the application and develop[ment of science and technology in Africa
The Objectives of the workshop were therefore to create an awareness on the need to considercultural factors in the development and application of science and technology, to highlight the cultural role of women in the popularization of science and technology to promote the utilization of indigenous knowledge systems; and cultural media, to propagate science and technology and finally organize an African forum on culture and science and technology in preparation for a global seminar.
