Report to Member States on the Inauguration of the Cairo-Gaborone Trans-East African Highway Authority
The third meeting of the Co-ordinating Committee meeting at Addis Ababa from 16 to 20 December 1980 reviewed and adopted the constitution of the Authority. The third meeting also accomplished the following: (a) It reviewed and endorsed the organizational structure of the proposed Trans-East African Highway Authority, its draft work programme and estimated budget-, (b) It resolved that the Authority be established to commence work no later than 1982; and accepted the offer of the Government of Kenya to host the Headquarters of the TEAHA at Nairobi.
