Progress report on establishment of the African monetary fund
In the area of monetary and financial cooperation, there is no doubt that there should be a regional African institution which can help African countries to formulate a general framework or guidelines for facing unfavourable conditions both internal and external. At the present time, Africa's destiny seems uncertain and its future doubtful. The African Monetary Fund (AMF), when created, will be an instrument able to ensure monetary integration and regional autonomy in the area of monetary policies.
