Current status of the Trans-African highway
The Economic Commission for Africa, at the first meeting of the conference of Ministers held in Tunis from 8 to 13 February 1971, examined a proposal for the construction of a trans-African highway, and passed a resolution requesting the Executive Secretary to assist in the formation of a Trans-African Highway Committee.
