The role of ARCC in monitoring the implementation of the global and regional plateforms for action for the advancement of women
The United Nations General Assembly resolution No.A/C.3/50/L64 on "Follow-up to the Fourth World Conference on Women and full implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platforms for Action" recognized the importance of regional monitoring of the global and regional Platforms for Action, by regional commissions and other sub regional and regional structures, within their mandates, in consultation with Governments.
