The last catalog of maps and charts received by the center was published in September,1969. Since then, thanks to the generous contributions of African governments and also of various institutions outside the continent, this collection has increased considerably and a new edition has become necessary. Where applicable items are listed under four column headings through and refer to; sheet number, sheet name, edition and year of publication.
