Trade facilitation to promote intra - African Trade
The objective of this paper is to present an overview of the constraints to inter-African trade, focusing on natural barriers, and to examine efforts made so far by African countries and RECs to eliminate these barriers. Such barriers are sometimes referred to as supply side constraints, but they are generally discussed under the banner of trade facilitation,and include the physical movement of consignment (transport and transit).
