Criteria for the location of the Centre
The Council is expected to take a decision on the location of the centre taking into account the evaluations of completed questionnaires regarding the merits of alternative locations. The African Regional centre for Engineering Design and Manufacturing will be a complex and sophisticated organization. It will also be a considerable investment in terms of its capital installations and the operating costs. Such a centre requires a wide range of complex inputs and surrounding services to enable it to function properly.
