This paper focuses on African institute for economic development and planning (IDEP) resolution 193 (IX) adopted by the commission at its 150th plenary meeting on 12 February 1969. Considering the willingness expressed by the government of the republic of Senegal to spare no effort in providing appropriate facilities for the IDEP project to enable it to attain its goals in respect of training and research.
